70 year old man came to the dental office with a very large old silver filling with tooth decay around the margin. The tooth could not tolerate a larger filling. A crown was recommended and the patient accepted the treatment and decided to go forward with the crown. He was anesthetized and reported no pain during treatment. The tooth was prepared for a crown after the tooth decay was removed. A temporary crown was made for the tooth. The patient returned for the permanent crown and reported that he had no pain after the previous appointment. The temporary crown was removed and the Zirconia crown was cemented. The fit was perfect and the patient was very happy with the natural looking esthetics.
