Dr. Mentesana completed her Doctorate in Dental Surgery at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas (Texas A&M.) After dental school she and her husband worked to get her to open All Smiles Dentistry in Allen, Texas. The practice was opened in 2001.
In the years to follow, Dr. Mentesana spent her days treating patients in Allen and raising her two daughters, who both graduated from Allen High School. She and her husband have always been very involved in the Allen community. They both received the Rotary Paul Harris award. All Smiles Dentistry was one of the early sponsors for the Foundation for Allen Schools.
Now, Dr. Mentesana enjoys her time in the practice mentoring staff and treating patients. When outside of the office, she enjoys scuba diving, traveling and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She also does volunteer work in a clinic in Roatan, Honduras.
